Who does the Alliance of  Women Executives (AWE) serve?

AWE awards scholarships to young women graduating from high schools in Palm Beach County who continue their education locally at Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, Palm Beach Atlantic University or Palm Beach State College.

What additional benefits do scholarship recipients receive?

Students receive a new laptop, a complimentary one-year membership to the Young Professionals Group at the Boynton Beach Online Chamber, an opportunity to shop for formalwear through a nonprofit partner and beginning in 2025, an invitation to join the Scholarship Recipient Advisory Council (SRAC).  These benefits enhance their academic and personal development.

How/when do students receive their scholarships and what are they used for?

Scholarship checks are sent to the students college or university in May of their freshman year and deposited directly into the students account to be used for tuition, books and other educational expenses.

How many scholarships has the Alliance of Women Executives (AWE) awarded?

Since 2018 AWE has awarded 127 scholarships, totaling $190,500.00
